On 05/07/2005 the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia
(Assistant Minister Doc. Dr Sinisa Gradinac) informed by memo Prof. Dr
Vladislava Vesovic – Potic on the forming of the Republic Rehabilitation
Commission (order 119-01-153/2005-02), whose goal was to prepare and
conduct the republic rehabilitation program and operate at the Centre
for physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Clinical Centre of
Serbia

According to article 67, in connection with article 69 of the Law on
State Administration (''Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia'',
num. 20/92, 6/93, 48/93, 53/93, 67/93, 48/94 i 49/99), I declare

On the foundation of the Republic Rehabilitation Commission
I
The Republic Rehabilitation Commission is formed.
The Republic Rehabilitation Commission consists of:
1. president, Prof. Dr Vladislava Vesovic - Potic, Clinical Centre of
Serbia;
2. secretary; Prim. Dr Ranka Krunic - Protic, Clinical Centre of Serbia

- Prof. Dr Gordana Devecerski, Clinical Centre of Novi Sad;
- Prof. Dr Stevan Jovic, Rehabilitation clinic ''Dr Miroslav Zotovic'',
Belgrade;
- Prof. Dr Milica Lazovic, Clinical Centre of Nis;
- Doc. Dr Ivana Petronic, University clinic for children, Belgrade;
- Prof. Dr Miodrag Jevtic, Clinical Centre of Kragujevac;
- Dr Mira Albot, Special hospital for neurological disease, Stari
Slankamen;
- Dr Slobodan Bukovic, Health Centre Zemun, Belgrade;
- Dr Dragica Komnenic, Rehabilitation Institute, Belgrade;

The goal of the Commission is to:
- participate in the making of regulations regarding physical medicine
and rehabilitation and balneoclimatology;
- give opinions and suggestions regarding the scope and structure of
health protection in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation
and balneoclimatology at the primary, secondary and tertiary level of
health protection;
- give suggestions on physiatric preventive protection of certain groups
of population (children, elderly);
- give suggestions on physiatric preventive/curative measures in certain
massive chronic noninfectious diseases and reduction of invalidity
caused by sickness or trauma;
- give suggestions on the planning of the network of health institutions
that conduct physical medicine and rehabilitation and balneoclimatology,
with suggestions about the capacity of these institutions;
- participate in regular and unscheduled expert supervision, especially
in expert supervision of the quality of work in institutions conducting
physical medicine and rehabilitation and balneoclimatology, or sections
for physical medicine and rehabilitation within general hospitals i.e.
primary health protection;
- perform evaluation of performance/effectiveness of modified and/or new
regulations;
- participate in giving suggestions regarding the standards of staff and
services within its field, determining the structure and scope of work,
as well as the assurance in the quality of staff and apparatus in
institutions conducting physical medicine and rehabilitation and
balneoclimatology;
- cooperate with educational institutions (Faculty of Medicine in
Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Kragujevac and departments of physical
medicine and rehabilitation at these faculties), especially for the
improvement of expert specialization of psychiatrists;
- cooperate with the Serbian Medical Society, particularly in the field
of licensing and regular expert specialization;
- cooperate with the Republic Institute for Health Insurance;
- perform expert analysis of questions and problems from the fields of
physical medicine and rehabilitation and balneoclimatology, especially
in the area of harmonization of citizens’ rights for health protection
within the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation and
balneoclimatology and realistic financial funds, as well as the concepts
for the planning of obligatory national, i.e. other health sectors from
its field;
- coordinate projects from this field.
III
The Republic Rehabilitation Commission operates at the Centre for
physical medicine and rehabilitation, Clinical Centre of Serbia.
In the work of the Rehabilitation Commission, on suggestion by the
President, experts from different areas can be employed for certain
questions, i.e. sub-commissions can be formed
