Knee injuries, especially anterior cruciate ligament injuries, represent a very serious challenge for the treatment and recovery of an injured athlete. Rehabilitation after such an injury today is shrouded in various myths, assumptions and marketing statements. Evidence-based and criteria-based rehabilitation plays a huge role in safe return to sport
The aim of the multidisciplinary meeting is to bring together renowned experts from the country and abroad – specialists in orthopedic surgery (Prof. Dr. Marko Kadija, Ass. Dr. Darko Milovanović, Ass. Dr. Branislav Krivokapić, Dr. Dejan Aleksandrić), specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine (Prof. Dr. Emilija Dubljanin, Dr. Miloš Bojović), graduate professor of sports and physical culture (Prof. Marko Stojanović) and physiotherapists (Andreas Bjeregard and Pedro Castellon Sanchez), who will share their rich clinical experience. share the experience with the participants.
This modern education is intended for all members of the health care team involved in the treatment and recovery of these patients. The listeners will have the opportunity to get acquainted with all stages of treatment of this injury – from diagnosis, through methods of operative treatment, modern principles of rehabilitation and ways of objectifying the recovery of each patient. Modern rehabilitation protocols will be presented, as well as the way to monitor recovery with objective measurements such as dynamometry and tensiometric platforms.
Time is planned for interactive discussions, questions and answers, and exchange of experiences.
